A reflective, supportive space for your practice

Collaborative supervision combining professional accountability, curiosity, development and care for the practitioner.

Thinking deeply about client work

Supervision offers a protected space to reflect on your clients, your process and yourself as a practitioner, so that your work stays safe, ethical and sustainable.
A supportive and reflective space to explore your client work, deepen your professional understanding, gain fresh perspective and develop greater confidence in your practice.

My approach to supervision

I aim to offer supervision that is supportive and appropriately challenging. We can think together about the client, the therapeutic relationship, case formulation, interventions, safeguarding and risk, ethics, boundaries, diversity, transference and countertransference, and the emotional impact of the work.
I am interested not only in what is happening for the client, but also in what may be happening for you as the practitioner.

Integrative supervision across modalities

My training and experience enable me to provide supervision to practitioners working across a range of therapeutic modalities. I am familiar with person-centred, CBT, psychodynamic, solution-focused, attachment-based, Transactional Analysis and Gestalt approaches, among others.
You do not need to work in the same way that I do. My aim is to understand and respect your therapeutic framework, while creating room to consider other perspectives where useful without moving you away from your chosen modality.

Ongoing professional support

Supervision is generally an ongoing professional relationship and may continue for years where it remains useful and appropriate. The arrangement can be reviewed as your practice, responsibilities and circumstances change.
I provide supervision to practitioners in private practice, schools and educational settings, charities, community and support services, and other mental-health and wellbeing contexts. Organisational supervision is also available.
